The total duration of the Internship for the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment is eight (8) weeks (i.e. 2 months) full-time. During the two months of the Internship, student interns will receive a monthly participation fee, the amount of which will be determined by the CSU Internship Office and will be covered by insurance through the Program funds. The institutions have no involvement in matters of fees and insurance.

The application procedure for students to join the Internship Programme, as well as the criteria for the selection of students for the available positions (as defined annually for the Department by the ESF Internship Office), are described in detail in the relevant notice which is posted at the beginning of the winter semester on the Department's website and/or communicated to students via e-class.

Inclusion in the programme implies on the part of the students and the Host Organisations the acceptance of specific conditions, as well as the fulfilment of a series of commitments and deliverables described in detail in the Internship Regulations - ESPA of the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment.

Professor Panagiotis Pomonis has been appointed as the Scientific Coordinator of the project.
